Caring tips for the anthurium

The anthuriums of ‘KARMA’ are of high quality and therefore popular in the market. To maintain the quality, we give advice here on the right way to care for your Anthurium. But it can also happen that the plant reacts to certain circumstances and therefore gets yellow leaves. We are happy to help with this and hope that with the tips on care we help everyone to enjoy the plant for as long as possible.


The best location |

The anthurium is a tropical houseplant that originated in the rainforest of Central America. They are therefore real fans of heat, preferably in a room with a temperature between 20°C and 22°C. The minimum temperature for the plant is 16°C. Do not put the plant in the window during the summer months. Direct sunlight will not make the anthurium happy. In the rainforest there is a high humidity and this makes the anthurium extremely suitable for the bathroom. In addition, keep them away from drafts and do not place them too close to a hot radiator.

  5. Plants hate drafts, direct sunlight, heating, smoke and ripening fruit. So don’t put them near here.
  6. The growth process of plants slows down at low temperatures, which means that you can enjoy your plants even longer.

Continued flowering |

The Anthurium has a cycle of; three months of flowering, a few months of no flowering and then another three months of flowering. A tip is therefore not to throw it away in time, because an anthurium can give pleasure for a very long time, of course with the right care. Discoloration in the leaves |

Yellow leaves or a yellow glow on the leaf are a sign that the plant is getting too much sunlight. This mainly occurs in the summer, when most people forget to remove the anthurium from the window frame, for example. Due to the heat from the sun, the plant needs more energy and water.

Repotting |
